Where do i begin? There's been so much going on these past few months. I know i haven't written a blog since i was pregnant. Well that's over and I introduce to the world my little baby boy, Sergio. He's everything i imagined him to be and more. He was born on Sept. 22, 2009. 7 lbs 12.5 oz 19.5 in long. He is now 2 months old and he's 22 in and weighs a little over 12 lbs i'm sure (this was measured at about 6 weeks) He is my pride and joy, as well as my exhaustion. But it's worth every minute of it. There's really no words to explain motherhood. It just is what it is!
Today is the day before thanksgiving. My son's second holiday this year. I'm super excited, and at the same time anxious, because i know that the next holiday is going to be huge for our little family. After tomorrow Christmas is just around the corner and is looking like it'll be a festive time for both my son and his Grandparents (and i mean BOTH SIDES) My mom is so excited about decorating this year (she didn't feel like it last year, mind you it was the first christmas i wasn't at home anymore) So having a new addition to the family is bringing back the joy of the holidays to everyone's hearts. Of course I say this regarding the fact that i, too, want to make this his best 1st Christmas ever... Even if he won't remember a thing about it as he gets older. Lol! After all he'll only be 3 months old. I know for a fact that he'll enjoy it all, i'm pretty sure he's gonna be the most spoiled kid in the entire family (considering everyone will want to get him a little something, whether it be BIG *grandmas of course* or small) But regardless the gifts... This is a holiday memory i don't want to ever forget. (Yay video cameras!!!)
But until then i think i'll finally get some sleep since i think i do it a lot during the day when the baby sleeps.. (which right now should be the time i should be asleep, it's the only time i really have to myself all day) Good Night and Happy Thanksgiving!!
